You’ve downloaded the Read Meeting Navigator App for Zoom and now want to use it for a meeting. What next? There are several ways to add the Meeting Navigator to your meeting and start using Read’s analytics.
Start a new Zoom meeting, then add the Read App
Step 1: After opening Zoom and starting a meeting, click on the Apps icon in the lower right hand corner of the screen
Step 2: In the My Apps tab of Zoom, navigate to the Read app and click Open
Step 3: Meeting Navigator will automatically join the meeting and will post information in the chat box for all attendees, providing them with instructions to access the app or opt out of measurement
Step 4: You will start to see metrics populating in Meeting Navigator shortly
Step 5: Meeting Navigator will continue to update throughout the meeting, providing insights in real time. Please refer to our guides on understanding the metrics and use cases for more information on getting the most out of the app.
Step 6: Once the meeting has ended, all attendees will be able to access a post-call report providing a high-level recap of how the meeting went.
Opening the Read Meeting Navigator App in Zoom when a meeting is already in progress
Open the Read App, then start a new Zoom meeting
Step 1: Open Zoom and navigate to the Apps section of the UI
Step 2: Under My Apps, you will see Meeting Navigator
Step 3: Click on Start Meeting
Step 4: Invite attendees as needed. All attendees will see a message in the chat box that Meeting Navigator has been added to the meeting, providing instructions to access the app or opt out of measurement
Step 5: You will start to see metrics populating in Meeting Navigator approximately ten seconds after the meeting begins
