Launch the Meeting Navigator App for Webex as the Host of a Meeting

As the host of a Webex meeting, or the person who schedules, starts and ends the session, you can activate the Meeting Navigator App without needing to install anything. Attendees are not able to activate the app on their own, although the host has the ability to share the app with the rest of the meeting attendees. Follow these steps to start using the Meeting Navigator App as a host:

Step 1: After opening Webex and starting a meeting, click on the Apps icon in the lower right hand corner of the screen. If you don't see the Apps icon or if you see the icon, but not Meeting Navigator, please contact your organization's Webex admin and ensure that Apps->Tabs is enabled in Control Hub.

Step 2: In the Apps window of Webex, navigate to Read Meeting Navigator and click on it

Step 3: You will be asked to log in to your Webex account to activate the Read app. The first time you do so, you will also be asked to accept Meeting Navigators's request for permissions

Click Accept to enable the required permissions for Read

Step 4: Meeting Navigator will automatically join the meeting and you will start to see metrics populating in the Meeting Navigator App shortly

Step 5: To share the Meeting Navigator with other meeting attendees, click the Open together button in the app. The rest of the meeting attendees will then be able to view the app in their Webex window, just as the host can. The host can then click Stop session to close the app and end measurement, although the meeting will continue uninterrupted.

Step 6: Meeting Navigator will continue to update throughout the meeting, providing insights in real time. Please refer to our guides on understanding the metrics and use cases for more information on getting the most out of the app.

Step 7: Once the meeting has ended, the app will close automatically.
