There are two “Recording” settings that must be enabled by the Zoom meeting host. To confirm or update this:
- Log in to Zoom and navigate to https://zoom.us/profile/setting
- Select the "Recording" tab
- Confirm that both of these settings are both enabled/on:
- "Record to computer files"
- "Hosts can give meeting participants permission to record to their computer”
- If either setting is disabled and grayed out, and you’re unable to enable them, you will need to contact your Zoom account administrator to have it changed.
This setting can also be configured at the Zoom account-level, via https://zoom.us/account/setting. If disabled at the account-level, it will override your user-level settings, so you may need someone with permission to view that page to confirm it's enabled there as well.
