You may notice that sometimes Read's transcription is not 100% accurate (no transcription process ever is). In particular, transcription models often struggle with non-dictionary words, like the names of people, companies, and products, or any type of industry jargon, especially acronyms and abbreviations.
If you notice that Read is regularly getting certain words wrong in your transcripts/notes, you should add the correct word to your Custom Vocabulary. This is a table where you can add up to 100 custom words or terms, which Read will automatically boost the recognition of when producing transcripts.
When adding a new word, you must specify whether it's a person's name, a product name, or other jargon. You can also remove words from here that you previously added by clicking the red trash icon. Changes here will only take effect for new meeting reports going forward.
Custom vocabulary is only available for paid Read subscribers, and not on free accounts.
