No. Only one person in the meeting needs a Read account to create a report and share it with everyone else. That person can be on any plan, including Free. We recommend a paid plan to get the most out of Read.
What’s in the report depends on that person’s plan and settings:
- All plans: Transcript, summary, action items, and meeting metrics.
- Enterprise and Enterprise+: Audio and video playback.
- Free plan: Up to 5 meeting reports a month.
See What are the different paid plans that Read offers?
For Zoom meetings: The person with the Read account must be in the meeting, signed in to the Zoom account they’ve connected to Read. See Upcoming Changes to Zoom Meetings.
Viewing a shared report
Other participants don’t need a paid plan to view a report shared with them. They do need to create a free Read account, unless the report’s link access is set to Anyone with the link.
Note for Free users: Reports shared with you count toward your 5 free reports each month. If you’ve reached the limit, shared reports will show as “out of quota.” See Why is my report showing as “out of quota”?
Workspaces
Free users can’t be part of a Workspace. You can only manage users with paid licenses in your Workspace settings.
Sharing one account
Sharing a single Read account among several people violates Read’s Terms of Service, and many features won’t work properly. See Can multiple people share one Read account?
