Only one person in the meeting needs to have a Read license in order to generate a meeting report, which includes a transcript, summary, recording, and meeting metrics (varies based on their plan and settings). Other participants in a meeting are not required to have a Read account, free or paid, but unless the Read user has link access set to public, participants will need to create at least a free Read account if they want to view the report.
If you are considering only purchasing one license and sharing the account between multiple people, this is not recommended in order to make the best use of Read. There are a few reasons for this:
- Only participants who have Read accounts will be able to get personal coaching for the meeting.
- The For You and Meeting Policy pages are designed to produce content and metrics specific to the meetings you had.
- If you have two people on your team that are on different meetings, and both want to invite Read, this won't be possible because you can only connect one account for each of the calendar integrations.
