Read is part of Zoom's curated Essential Apps offering. Through Essential Apps, Read provides a Zoom Apps plan with premium features to qualifying Zoom customers.
The Zoom Apps plan is offered at no cost for 12 months. After that, you'll be automatically downgraded to the Free plan, unless you choose to upgrade.
What the Zoom Apps plan includes
- Real-time meeting metrics for your first 5 meetings per month
- Transcripts and meeting summaries for your first 5 meetings per month. A recording notification in Zoom is required to enable these.
- Per-meeting recording maximum of 60 minutes (see What does "Max Recording Duration" mean?)
- Workspace features for up to 10 users (not available with the Free plan). See What is a Workspace?
- Participant-level insights (not available with the Free plan)
What it doesn't include
- Meeting playback (audio/video) isn't included. You can still record meetings locally or in the cloud using Zoom's own recording option (select Record in Zoom), but those recordings aren't saved to Read for playback in Read.
How to check if you're on the Zoom Apps plan
Your current plan is shown under Current Plan on the Plan & Billing page (click your name at the bottom left, then select Plan & Billing). If you're on this plan, it shows as "Zoom Apps".
If you're seeing "out of quota" on your reports, see Why is my report showing as "out of quota"?
Upgrading
If you'd like unlimited meeting reports, you may want the Read Pro plan ($15 per user per month with an annual license). If you'd like meeting playback (audio/video), you'll need the Read Enterprise plan ($22.50 per user per month with an annual license) or Enterprise+.
