Ask Read, Read AI’s search and chat tool, helps you unify meeting transcripts with emails, chat threads, documents, and CRM data. Now, you can also use Ask Read actions to turn those conversations into action through new agents that can interact with external platforms.
What are Ask Read Actions?
Actions are action-oriented agents that work with Ask Read. When prompted, they’ll act on a request, allowing you to learn something from a prompt, and then take action (“Send an email with this information,” “Update my CRM with this detail,” and more).
Which actions are supported by Ask Read?
There are currently four actions you can Ask Read to do for you:

CRM Update: Update a deal based on next steps from a meeting
After a call with a client or prospect, use Ask Read to summarize the next steps, and tell it to update the deal in HubSpot.

Email: Send a custom email directly from Ask Read
After a meeting, send a quick follow up email to update important stakeholders who might not read the full meeting report. Simply navigate to the meeting report, and enter a command in the search bar like "send a summary of this meeting to coworker1@companyname.com". Ask Read will generate an email draft. If you approve the draft, type "send it," and the email will be sent to you and the recipient you named.

Calendar: Set up a meeting
Ask Read can set up a meeting for you. Provide the meeting title, attendees, and description (optional), and shortly you will see the event show up on your calendar -
Scheduled updates
Want the latest updates on a particular topic each week? Ask Read can search the web for news related to that topic, and then ask it to update you regularly via email at a particular day and time each week.
