Some organizations block access to Read. When that happens, you'll see an error or a blocked page instead of Read. These blocks are set by your organization, not by Read AI, so only your IT team can remove them.
Error AADSTS7000112 when signing in with Microsoft
If you sign in to Read with your Microsoft work or school account and see an error like this, your organization has turned off access to Read in its Microsoft account settings:
AADSTS7000112: Application '35e7f5d2-9978-464f-8710-c7a05d5b9fdf'(Read Meeting Navigator) is disabled.
The name in brackets may also show as Read AI. It's the same application.
Why am I seeing this?
Your organization's IT team manages which apps people can sign in to with their Microsoft accounts. This error means the Read application has been disabled for your organization. Read AI can't change this setting, so Read Support can't fix it from our side.
How do I fix it?
- Contact your IT team or Microsoft administrator.
- Send them the full error message, including the application ID (35e7f5d2-9978-464f-8710-c7a05d5b9fdf).
- Ask them whether Read was disabled on purpose and, if you need access, whether they can re-enable it for you.
Your IT team decides whether to allow access. If they disabled Read on purpose, you won't be able to sign in with that Microsoft account.
“Need admin approval” when signing in or connecting Microsoft
You might see a Microsoft window that says Need admin approval: “Read AI needs permission to access resources in your organization that only an admin can grant.” For example:
This means your organization only lets an admin approve apps like Read. Read Support can't approve it for you. Ask your IT team or Microsoft admin to grant permission to Read AI. For the steps, including how to request approval when your organization allows it, see Microsoft Outlook Calendar Permission.
“Site Blocked” and other blocked-access messages
Your organization may also block Read with its own security or web-filtering tools. You might see a page that says Site Blocked, that access to app.read.ai isn't allowed, or that you should contact your IT support. For example:
These messages come from your organization's tools, not from Read AI. Read Support can't remove the block or see why it was set.
What should I do?
- Contact your IT team.
- Send them a screenshot of the message, including any reference or trace ID it shows.
- Ask whether Read is blocked on purpose and, if you need access, whether they can allow it.
