Creating a Read account using Microsoft SSO
- Navigate to the read.ai homepage
- Click “Try for Free!” or “7-day free trial”
- Once you have gone through the Privacy Policy and Terms of Service, check the box and click “Sign up with Microsoft”
- After signing in, Microsoft will ask to let Read access your information. Click “Accept”
- Account creation
- Create account - input basic information (full name, preferred language, job title)
- Calendar (Microsoft Outlook) - You can configure which types of meetings you’d like Read to join, as well as meeting report distribution preferences.
- Integrations (Outlook)
- Wrap up (integrate any additional platforms)
- You have successfully created an account and will be directed to your Read dashboard where you can find a sample report and Readout.
Connecting your Outlook calendar
If you'd like to update the connected calendar from when you created your account, you can visit the “Apps & Integrations” page to view and modify your current integrations.
Outlook inbox & Teams chat sync
If you’d like to receive Readouts, but did not sync your Outlook inbox or Teams chat during account setup, you can enable "Outlook Sync to Read" and “Teams sync to Read” on the "Apps & Integrations" page under the 'Productivity' tab.
Please note that Readouts are currently exclusive to paid users, but new users or users with a new integration within the last 14 days will receive one Readout report.
Pushing meeting reports to OneNote & Teams
If you'd like meeting notes and transcriptions to automatically show up in OneNote for any meetings you own, scroll to the ‘Notetaking’ tab in the “Apps & Integrations” page to integrate your Read account to OneNote.
To share and receive meeting summaries through Teams, scroll to the ‘Messaging’’ tab in the “Apps & Integrations” page to enable Read to push summaries to Teams channels.
Read App for Microsoft Teams
The Read Meeting Tools & Metrics app for Teams takes your meetings to the next level by giving you the ability to make real-time adjustments. Open the app during your Teams meeting to get insights on engagement, sentiment, talking speed, filler words, and participant talk time.
- You can use the Read app either on the Teams app or on the Teams web app
- Once the Read app is added to your Teams, you can find the app in the left-hand sidebar where you will be able to view reports and upcoming meetings.
