If you're having trouble logging into Read, you may end up finding and using the Forgot Password page. If you enter your email address and don't receive any email from Read to reset your password, you may be confused, however there are a couple of likely explanations:
- Your account was created using single sign-on (SSO), e.g. by signing up with Google or Microsoft.
- In this case, you have not created any password with Read, and so there is no password to reset and no email will be sent.
- Check your email account(s) for a "Welcome to Read" email to confirm which account you signed up with, and then trying using SSO to log in to Read with that account
- The email is getting filtered to your junk/spam folder, so make sure to check there as well.
If neither of these is the case, and you still are unable to access your account, we'd suggest reaching out to firstname.lastname@example.org.
