If you're having trouble logging into Read, you may end up finding and using the Forgot Password page. If you enter your email address and don't receive any email from Read to reset your password, you may be confused, however there are a couple of likely explanations:
- Your account was created using a different email address
- The email is getting filtered to your junk/spam folder, so make sure to check there as well
- You unsubscribed from receiving transactional emails - check your previous emails from Read and click the "Unsubscribe" or "Email Preferences" link at the bottom to manage your email preferences and resubscribe to transactional emails
Additionally, if you used single sign-on (SSO) to create your account (i.e. the "log in with Google/Microsoft/etc" options), then you likely have not yet created a password for your Read account. In this case, using the "Forgot Password" page should still send you an email letting you know that this account uses SSO to login as opposed to email and password.
