With Read AI for HubSpot, you're getting a CRM Copilot that supercharges your HubSpot experience in multiple ways:
- Read's Meeting Assistant will handle the note taking during your sales calls, letting you fully engage with your prospects when it matters most. Read syncs meeting notes, action items, and transcripts directly to your Contacts, Companies and Deals in HubSpot
- Read's Search Copilot is a powerful enterprise search tool that can answer questions and generate complex responses using the information in your HubSpot account, in addition to past meeting transcripts and other sources like email, chat, and documentation platforms.
- Read will also analyze your Salesforce opportunities and make recommendations for when they are ready to move to a new stage.
Read AI is the perfect tool to help you catch up on prospect progress ahead of your calls by reviewing past notes, get answers to questions potentially in real time during your calls, and keep your HubSpot up to date as your opportunities evolve.

Integration Settings & Options
Once you've connected Read AI to your HubSpot account, you'll be able to select several configuration options:
- Auto-Push Meeting Notes to HubSpot: The core functionality of the integration, this enables Read AI to sync meeting notes to your Contacts and associated Deals in HubSpot.
- Incorporate HubSpot data into Read: This allows us to include your HubSpot data in Search Copilot, and also to provide recommendations for your deal stage updates.
- Create new HubSpot Contacts: Enabling this will cause new Contacts to be created if no corresponding contact is found in your HubSpot instance.
- Include Meeting Transcript: When this is enabled, the full transcript from your meeting report will be attached to the Meeting Activity as a file. When it's disabled, only summary report data will be included.
- Sync past meetings: When clicked, this will backfill all previous meeting reports that included external participants into HubSpot.
Locating Synced Meeting Reports in HubSpot
With auto-push, each meeting report is synced to the Contact record(s) in HubSpot (for external participants only), and is also viewable on any Deals associated with the Contact(s). Using the manual "Push to HubSpot" option from within a report, you can also sync meeting notes to Company records. You can find the meeting report in the "Activity" tab of a Contact, Company or Deal, specifically under the "Meetings" sub-tab:
Please note:
- Only external participants (that is, participants with an email address in another domain than yours) are eligible to have meeting reports synced to their HubSpot record.
- If a Contact does not exist as a record in HubSpot at the time of the meeting, and you have "Create new HubSpot contacts" option in your Read account disabled, then the meeting report will not sync to that participant.
- Meeting reports will also be viewable on any Deals that Contact is associated with.
- Meetings where Read is manually added to the meeting (pasting the meeting URL into "Add to Live Meeting" on the Read website/inviting the assistant via Read's apps/inviting Read via the Chrome extension) won't automatically sync because there is no calendar invite.
- Meeting notes will only sync to HubSpot automatically if you have Owner or Editor access to the report when the meeting report is first generated
- Users will need to have "Delete" permissions on Companies, Contacts, Deals, and Files in order to connect the integration. If you see the error message below, these are likely the missing permissions that need to be adjusted.
