You can add meeting reports to folders, or remove them, from several places in Read AI. That way you can organize reports wherever you’re working: from the list of reports, from a single report, or from the folder itself.
You can only add reports that you own or can edit to a shared folder. See Shared folders.
Where to add or remove reports
1. From the Reports page
In the Folders column, open the drop-down for the report and select one or more folders. You can also create a new folder here.
- To add every past and future meeting in the series to the folder, select Apply to all meetings in series.
- To remove the report from a folder, clear the checkbox next to the folder’s name.
2. From a report
Open the report and click the folder icon. Select or clear folders to add or remove the report. You can also apply the change to every meeting in the series, or create a new folder.
3. From a folder
Open the folder and click Add Reports. A pop-up lets you search and filter your reports to find the ones you want to add. To remove a report, click the three dots next to it and select Remove From Folder. This removes the report from the folder but doesn’t delete the report.
Automating folder updates
Folder rules
To file future meetings automatically, set up folder rules. Rules add new meetings to a folder based on their title or participants. They only add reports you own or can edit, and they don’t change reports you already have. For setup steps, see Configuring rules for folders.
Ask Read
You can also use Ask Read to organize your reports. This is useful for moving meetings you already have, or for more complex requests. For example:
- “Move all my meetings with someone at acme.com to the Acme folder.”
- “Move all meetings with ‘Kick-off call’ in the title to a Customer Kick-Off Calls folder.”
You can also ask Read to do this on a schedule, for example: “Every day at 9am, check for new meetings with someone from acme.com and move them to the Acme folder.” To see the history and results of each run, find your original request in your Ask Read Chat History (on the Ask Read page, click All Chat History).
