Once Read has joined a meeting, the meeting host or any meeting participant can remove Read from the meeting and delete all recorded data in a few ways depending on the meeting platform.

Google Meet - Read joins as a meeting participant
- Only the meeting host or co-host can remove Read as a meeting participant. Open the "People" panel, click the 3-dot (ellipsis) and "Remove from the call".
- For all other meeting participants, they can:

click the 'opt out' link in the chat to to remove Read. All recorded content would be deleted and no meeting report would be generated.
- type "read stop" in the chat and send it to remove Read. A meeting report would be generated with the recorded content up to that point. Please use the 'opt out' link in Option 1 if this does not work.

Any meeting participant can click on "Stop sharing", removing Read. In this case, a meeting report will be generated with data recorded up until that point.
- Read users who had installed the Read Add-on can remove Read by following these steps -
- Click on the 9-dot grid on the bottom right corner, then look for the Read AI app, open it. Click the Read AI logo at the bottom left.

- Select the "Opt out" option. This will remove Read from the meeting and delete any recorded content. Please note that there is no option to keep the recording up to this point, by clicking "Opt out", all recorded content will be deleted, no report would be generated.
Microsoft Teams
- The meeting host can remove Read as a meeting participant. Open the "People" panel, find Read from the list, click the 3-dot (ellipsis) and "Remove from meeting". A meeting report will be generated up to that point.
- If a link is posted in the chat, any meeting participant can click it to opt out. All recorded content would be deleted, no meeting report would be generated.
- If the opt out link is not posted in the chat, any meeting participant can type
- "read stop" in the chat and send it. A meeting report will be generated with recorded content up to that point.

Zoom
- The meeting host can remove Read as a meeting participant.
- Any meeting participant can type
- "read stop" in the chat and send it to remove Read. A meeting report would be generated with the recorded content up to that point.
- "opt out" in the chat and send it to remove Read. All recorded content would be deleted and no meeting report would be generated.
Display Metrics and Timer (Zoom only)
These are only available on Zoom calls where the Read user has enabled the "meeting metrics" display option.
- "Display On / Off" = Enable or disable metrics in Read's participant window
- "Talk Time On / Off" = Display of talk time in Read's participant window in the meeting
- "Timer On / Off" = Display of meeting timer in Read's participant window in the meeting
- "Read Score On / Off" = Display of Read Score in Read's participant window in the meeting
