Read works natively with meetings on Zoom, Microsoft Teams, and Google Meet. That means that when you connect your calendar to Read, the Assistant can only join and record meetings on one of these platforms. We also offer apps on these platforms which allow you to do things like manually add Read to the call and view meeting metrics in real time.
If you have a meeting on a different platform (like Webex, GoToMeeting, or RingCentral) then Read cannot join your calls to automatically process them into a report. However, there are other options!
- You can use the Read AI desktop app to record any audio on your Windows or Mac computer
- If you can get an MP4 or M4A of the conversation, you can upload the file to Read to generate a report.
Please note that the Read bot cannot join Teams calls initiated from the Chat tab (as opposed to scheduled meetings). However, you can still capture these calls using the desktop app. Additionally, Read cannot bypass CAPTCHA verification. Read is not currently able to record content from Zoom Whiteboards.
