There are two common issues related to Zoom settings that may be preventing Read from joining and/or recording your Zoom meetings. This article covers just the Zoom-specific issues, but if you haven't already reviewed Why didn't Read join my meeting? you should check that out as well. If you are having trouble using Read with Zoom specifically, you should make sure the meeting host checks the following settings.
Only authenticated users can join
If Read isn't able to join your Zoom call, it's possible that the Zoom host had their meeting configured to not allow unauthenticated users to join. This setting can be set in several different places, and they all need to be disabled for Read to join. See this article for details:
Record to computer files
Another critical setting in Zoom is that “Record to computer files” must be enabled. If this is not enabled, your reports will get marked incomplete with "Restricted data" issues about Read not getting permission to record. To view or update this setting:
If this setting is off, hosts won't even see the request from Read to record, it will just be automatically denied. Note that the "Restricted data" issue can also occur if the host does receive the request and chooses to deny it. Read will then leave the call a few minutes after it has been denied recording permission.
