Yes. When you downgrade your plan, you keep access to your past meeting reports. Here's what changes:
- You will continue to have access to past meeting reports, including notes and transcripts (if they were previously available).
- You keep your paid features until the end of your current billing period. See How do I cancel my billing plan?
- If you downgrade from Enterprise or Enterprise+ to Pro or Free, you will lose access to audio/video playback for past reports. Playback is only available on Enterprise and Enterprise+ plans.
If you're downgrading to Free
You'll lose access to features that are limited to paid plans, including:
- Premium integrations (Notion, Salesforce, HubSpot, Jira, Confluence, Zapier, and webhooks). The Free plan still includes basic integrations.
- The For You page
- Workspaces. Free users can't be part of a Workspace. If you owned a Workspace, it will be deactivated, and you'll lose access to any reports that were only shared with you through team or Workspace sharing.
Free plan limits also apply to your future meetings:
- Up to 5 meeting reports per month. Reports shared with you count toward this limit. Once you reach it, new reports show as "out of quota." See Why is my report showing as "out of quota"?
- Meetings up to 1 hour long (Pro and Enterprise: 4 hours; Enterprise+: 8 hours).
- No audio or video uploads (Pro includes 100 minutes per month, Enterprise 200, and Enterprise+ 300).
- No ChatGPT or Claude models in Ask Read. Choosing models from OpenAI or Anthropic in Ask Read is only available on paid plans.
How long reports are kept on the Free plan
For users on the Free plan, Read keeps the text version of past meeting reports for at least 1 year after the meeting. Meeting recordings are deleted 180 days after the meeting. (Reports for paid users are kept indefinitely.)
If you have reports nearing these limits, we recommend that you download the report content before downgrading to the Free plan. See How do I download meeting reports, transcripts, and more?
