Meetings
After your meeting ends, Read starts processing the recording to generate the meeting report. This applies to every way Read captures a meeting:
- The Read Assistant joining your Zoom, Microsoft Teams or Google Meet call
- Google Meet native recording
- The Read desktop app
- The Read mobile app
For the vast majority of meetings, processing takes about 5-15 minutes.
Processing time depends on how large the meeting is. Longer meetings, and meetings with more participants, have more data to process, so they can take longer. Processing can also take longer during times of peak traffic.
If your meeting report is still showing as "PROCESSING" more than two hours after the meeting ends, please contact Read Support.
Uploads
For meeting reports generated from file uploads, processing can take longer, especially if you are uploading very long files or multiple files. Processing for file uploads will always take at least as long as the recording itself, and can take up to 24 hours depending on file size.
While your report is processing, it appears in your list on the Reports page (you can filter by Source > Uploaded Reports) with a gray PROCESSING label. If your upload is still marked as "PROCESSING" after 24 hours, please contact Read Support.
If your report doesn't appear
If a meeting or upload disappears without generating a report, check these first:
- Go to Reports > Incomplete. This tab lists meetings Read couldn't fully record or create a report for, along with the reason. See What is the "Incomplete" tab under Reports?
- If you're on the Free plan, check whether the report is marked "Out of quota". See Why is my report showing as "out of quota"?
- For more troubleshooting, see Why didn't I get a meeting report?
If you still can't find your report, please contact Read Support.
